1:45 - 3:15 PM Interactive Workshop: Leadership “on Purpose”
Christian Recknagel, TAIT

It is hard to lead “on purpose” if you do not have a purpose to be on. So much has been written and documented on the importance of being clear about your purpose and values, whether for a leader or a company. We often do not find the time or commit to doing the work to document these things. If you don’t document them, operationalizing them is unlikely. This conversation is designed to help leaders begin to articulate their leadership purpose and values that, whether they realize it or not, are the foundation of their leadership approach. Having this documented will encourage a more purposeful expression of their leadership and create more consistency in how they engage and influence their teams, colleagues and other constituents.

Learning Objectives
  1. Deepen your understanding of purpose and values and how they support high performance leadership.
  2. Clarify your personal leadership purpose and values and begin to document them.
  3. Consider practices to help you operationalize your leadership purpose.
CPE Available

We will also introduce some basic principles around negotiating for meaningful change and growth.

Learning objectives:
  1. Understand the importance of negotiation and why women have historically missed opportunities to ask for what we want
  2. Learn through sharing experiences with peers, how both success and failure lead to growth.
  3. Explore the most valuable insights of the forum and how they can put what they’ve learned into action.
