Jeff DavisDirector of Treasury Operations & Analysis, Amherst College Jeff is the Director of Treasury Operations & Analysis at Amherst College. He currently oversees a $640 million debt portfolio that includes taxable and tax-exempt bonds, a private placement, VRDBs, and integrated swaps. Jeff is also responsible for the College’s short-term investments, liquidity strategy and cash flow forecasting, tax-exempt bond compliance, lines of credit, and rating agency reporting. Along with his treasury related duties, Jeff serves on the College’s Health Readiness Committee, Captive Insurance Company, Faculty Housing Committee, and the 403b Fiduciary Committee. Prior to Amherst, Jeff spent nine years in the treasury office at Vanderbilt University. Outside of the standard treasury operations, he was involved in unique projects such as the legal separation of the University and Medical Center and a $1.4 billion trademark license royalty securitization. Jeff has been involved in both an Oracle and Workday ERP implementation. Prior to higher education, Jeff spent five years in public accounting. He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Certified Professional Accountant. |
