James RileyDirector of Fiscal Operations Jim has spent over thirty years working in higher education and research administration, spanning roles in central, school, and departmental management. In his present role Jim runs mission continuity and resilience planning initiatives for the Perelman School of Medicine, directs all aspects of research administration, human resources, financial planning, and research operations for a large collection of basic and translational science laboratories, and oversees the financial and operational needs of an independent 501(c)(3) entity. In recent years Jim launched the Career and College Readiness Internship @ Penn Medicine to provide high school students in career and technical education programs an opportunity to explore the wide variety of careers available on a college campus while introducing them to numerous aspects of post-secondary school life. |
